Today, we are going to talk about costuming in terms of film. Costuming serves as a powerful visual language, influencing the audience's perception of characters and enhancing the film. The choice made regarding a character's clothing can establish a specific mood, and it can play a pivotal role in the overall film experience. In our film, the intention is to create a melancholic mood. For us to achieve this, we have selected that our main character will be wearing primarily dark clothing. The dark clothing, should become a canvas upon which the character's internal struggles can be visually shown. 

Furthermore, in our film we are exploring the domain of modern fashion to portray authenticity, especially since our main character is a high school student. We choose for our character to wear modern sneakers like Jordan's or New Balances. Not only this aligns with the current youth culture, but it adds a layer to reliability. These stylish and iconic shoes become more than just footwear, they become symbols of the character's identity within the context of their age and social setting. Moreover, to compliant the dark clothing, we have considered adding black pants or joggers. This choice not only reinforces the thematic consistency but it also provides a contemporary and casual look. Joggers especially, contribute to a relaxed and youthful vibe, reinforcing the relatable nature if the character within the high school setting.
