Final project idea

We are even closer than ever to finally start making this film opening. Now it's time to decide on what we want this project to be about. My group and I have discussed a multitude of topics as mentioned in my previous blog posts. Now, we have finally decided that our film opening will be focused on mental health. Again mentioned, in my previous post, In today's day of age, mental health is big topic so it made sense to make our project centered around that. 

Our project will feature a young boy, he appears to be happy, cracking jokes with his friends, you would think he is living the perfect life. But that is all wrong, when he is along he is struggling inside, he is happy on the outside but on the inside he is really going through it. This is a problem that a lot of people deal with, we believe that we can through tough times by ourselves, that may be true, but it is best if you reach out to people. We were not placed on this Earth to go through life alone. Later on in this film the young boy will later take his life because he couldn't handle fight the depression battle anymore. 

The genre of our project will be under drama . Since this young boy will lose his battle with depression and ultimately committing suicide, this film will be under the from of drama. Our group wanted to be different by adding the reality of human life in this film. We really wanted to target those who battle depression and say nothing about it. My group and I wanted to speak about real world problems since a lot of people are afraid too. We wanted our film to be impactful to everyone and we want people to speak up if they are going through issues. I think this film will touch a lot of people hearts and it can cause people to finally speak about what they're going through and seek help.
