Whether they are the main focus of the action or just a background element, sound is ESSENTIAL in movies. In a movie, the sound of falling leaves at night might terrify the audience to the extent that they start observing their surroundings. Characters can hear diegetic noises, whereas non-diegetic sounds are just intended for the audience's enjoyment and not audible to characters. We'll use diegetic noises like a basketball bouncing, someone walking, and passing automobiles. One gunshot will be used as a non-diegetic sound. 

  

Since they each provide a particular dimension to our film, we have chosen to include both diegetic and non-diegetic noises in our production. We have chosen to incorporate non-diegetic noises since it is not possible to make some sounds. It goes without saying that we chose to have Antwan, our most seasoned film-making professional, handle the editing. We wanted to use the editing program that would be most comfortable for our editor. He made the decision to utilize iMovie.
