How did we finish

What's up bloggers,

After countless hours of filming, editing, and re-editing, we can finally say with a sigh of relief that our 2-minute opening film is complete. It's been a journey, let me tell you. From brainstorming sessions to late-night shots, every step of the process has been filled with challenges and triumphs. But in the end, seeing our vision come to life on screen makes it all worth it.

The decision to include scenes at the basketball court and the pier wasn't made lightly. We wanted our film to resonate with our audience on a deeper level, to capture the essence of our shared experiences and memories. And what better way to do that than by incorporating familiar locales and a poignant quote to tie it all together? It was a creative choice that we believe adds a layer of depth and meaning to our work.

Of course, no creative endeavor is without its setbacks. During the editing process, we realized that our video was running a bit too long for our liking. So, with heavy hearts, we made the tough decision to cut some scenes to ensure that our film remained concise and impactful. But even with these cuts, I stand by the quality of our work. Every frame, every shot was carefully crafted with passion and dedication.

And let's not forget the teamwork that made it all possible. Antwan, Marco, and I may have led the charge, but it was the collective effort of our entire group that brought this project to fruition. Even on days when schedules clashed and not everyone could be physically present, we found ways to contribute and make our mark on the film. It's a testament to the strength of our bond and our shared commitment to excellence.

As we reflect on this journey, I can't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. We poured our hearts and souls into this project, and it shows. And while this may mark the end of our opening film, it's only the beginning of what promises to be an unforgettable senior year. Here's to chasing our dreams, pushing boundaries, and making memories that will last a lifetime.
